Jurado 2013

The jury in Spain of 2024's edition of Wiki Loves Monuments is composed by:

• Alfonso Corral

Alfonso Corral has a Bachelor of Arts degree and a master's degree in Administration and Business Management. Alfonso is an expert in the management of cultural heritage and has worked in several projects related to cultural and creative industries. He has participated in the virtual library project Saavedra Fajardo at the University of Murcia. Alfonso is an expert in everything related to the Way of St. James, a pilgrimage that he has achieved in many occasions.

• David Corral

David Corral Gadea is an computing engineering technician, graphic designer, web designer and community manager. He also teaches about new technologies and graphic design. He is an amateur photographer since his youth. His photography of the aqueduct of Segovia was awarded with the second prize of the International Wiki Loves Monuments 2012 contest.

• Guzmán Garmendia

Guzmán Garmendia is the former managing director of Gobierno Abierto y Nuevas Tecnologías (Open Government and New Technlogies) of the Government of Navarra. During his mandate he was in charge of the constitution of the Transparency Law and Open Government of this Autonomous Community. Guzmán works currently for ORACLE as IT consultant and he is board member of Open Knowledge Foundation in Spain. He is also working as consultant of Gobierno Abierto, Transparencia y Nuevas Tecnologías (Open Government, Transparency and New Technologies), leading the participation and construction process of the Transparency Law of the Canary Islands, among other collaborations with governments, press, associations and institutions.

• Iván Martínez

Iván Martínez is electronics technician, occupation that he shares with his hobby, photography, especially the urban and landscape photography. Iván was the winner of the 2011's edition of Wiki Loves Monuments in Spain in 2011 thanks to a picture of the Baths of María Padilla, in the Royal Alcazars of Seville.

• Jacinto Heredia

Jacinto Heredia is Doctor in Art History, high school professor, and has a degree in History and Hispanic Filology, as well as a bachelor in Advanced History Studies. Jacinto also holds a master in Toponymy of the University of Valencia. Jacinto is member of the Societat d'Onomàstica, as well as the Societat Catalana d'Estudis Històrics. Since 2006 he is a coordinator of contents in the "Vilapèdia", a wiki about the city of Vila-real, one of the first localpedias and the only one developed only in Catalan. He is also author of different essays about arts, history, toponymy and popular customs. Jacinto was also member of the jury of Wiki Loves Monuments in Spain in 2012.

• Manuel Torio

Manuel Torio has a degree in Geography. He is an active Wikipedian in the Spanish version since 2006, where he collaborates as administrator. Manuel is also involved in other free knowledge projects like OpenStreetMaps or Wikimedia Commons. He is a hobby photographer and since 2012 committee member, as well as founder member, of Wikimedia Spain.
